{"id":6888,"date":"2021-11-25T10:04:38","date_gmt":"2021-11-25T09:04:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.isir.upmc.fr\/?post_type=isir_news&#038;p=6888"},"modified":"2021-11-26T11:27:28","modified_gmt":"2021-11-26T10:27:28","slug":"orange-day-isir-participates-in-the-event-organised-by-un-women-france","status":"publish","type":"isir_news","link":"https:\/\/www.isir.upmc.fr\/news\/orange-day-isir-participates-in-the-event-organised-by-un-women-france\/?lang=en","title":{"rendered":"ORANGE DAY: ISIR PARTICIPATES IN THE EVENT ORGANISED BY UN WOMEN FRANCE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The international ORANGE THE WORLD campaign<\/strong> initiated by UN Women starts every year on 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) with <strong>ORANGE DAY<\/strong>, for 16 days of action against violence against women, until 10 December (International Human Rights Day).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Created in 1991, this worldwide movement has been wearing the colour orange since 2014. The Orange The World campaign aims to encourage all civil society actors to mobilise in awareness-raising actions, to create a space for discussion on the issues and solutions to violence, and to raise funds to end violence.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the occasion of <strong>ORANGE DAY<\/strong>, commitment to combat violence against women and girls, <strong>ISIR<\/strong> and its members wore the colour orange!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.isir.upmc.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/DSC2290-1024x588.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6893\" width=\"768\" height=\"441\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.isir.upmc.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/DSC2290-1024x588.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.isir.upmc.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/DSC2290-300x172.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.isir.upmc.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/DSC2290-768x441.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.isir.upmc.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/DSC2290-1536x882.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.isir.upmc.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/DSC2290.jpg 2000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why orange?
