Visit from Antoine Petit – CEO of the CNRS, and Nathalie Drach Temam – President of Sorbonne University<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

ISIR received, Tuesday 18 January 2022, a visit from its Institutions represented by Antoine Petit, CEO of the CNRS<\/a> and Nathalie Drach Temam, President of Sorbonne University<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This meeting was an opportunity to discuss robotic technologies for motor disabilities, in particular exoskeletons and prostheses, and joint research between ISIR and the company Wandercraft<\/a>, represented by its CEO Matthieu Masselin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wandercraft manufactures and markets Atalante, a walking exoskeleton that provides full support for people with no motor skills in their lower limbs, without the aid of crutches.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit allowed, on the one hand, to discover the research activities carried out at ISIR on the design of robotic devices for the assistance of people suffering from a motor deficit. And on the other hand, to make links between robotics and learning, and the perspectives offered by the association of robotics and Artificial Intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
