  • Bio: Vincent Hayward est professeur à Sorbonne Université (Paris, France) et membre de l'Institut des systèmes intelligents et de robotique (ISIR). Il est également Conseiller Scientifique d'une société qu'il a co-fondée. Avant son poste à la Sorbonne, il était à l'Université McGill (Montréal, Canada), où il était professeur au Département de génie électrique et informatique et directeur du Centre McGill pour les machines intelligentes. En 2017 et 2018, il a été professeur de perception tactile et de technologie à la School of Advanced Study de l'Université de Londres, soutenu par une bourse Leverhulme Trust, après une période de six ans en tant que boursier avancé du Conseil européen de la recherche à Sorbonne Université. En reconnaissance de ses travaux en robotique et haptique, il a été élu Fellow de l'IEEE en 2008, a reçu le Grand Prix Inria de l'Académie des Sciences, et a été élu membre de l'Académie des sciences en 2019.
