Presentation
The Intelligent Systems for Health research area is a cross-disciplinary structure that fosters collaboration between researchers and healthcare professionals. Its aim is to develop technological and methodological innovations in the clinical and biomedical fields, in collaboration with university hospitals and paramedical staff.
Bringing together researchers from Sorbonne University, the CNRS and Inserm, the research cluster adopts an interdisciplinary approach and conducts experimental activities in clinical settings, with translational approaches developed in partnership with industry.
The axis’s objectives are as follows:
– Scientific coordination: organising seminars and themed events to foster exchanges between researchers and practitioners.
– Communication: disseminating the work of the ERL U1150 Intelligent Systems for Health, highlighting the ISIR’s specific expertise in healthcare and promoting scientific findings.
– Training and exchanges: raising awareness among researchers and PhD students of the specific characteristics of healthcare applications.
– Translational approaches: establishing collaborations with industry to commercialise innovations arising from research work.

Actions
– Organising regular scientific events (symposia, conferences, training courses).
– Structuring and revitalising the network of researchers working in the field of health.
– Strengthening collaborations with clinical and paramedical professionals. – Participating in national and international health initiatives.
– Developing new applications in surgery, support for people with disabilities, and modelling of neurodegenerative diseases and neurodevelopmental disorders.
– Integrating experimental activities into clinical settings to validate technological innovations.
– Consolidating links with Inserm and the APHP to ensure greater recognition and promotion of ISIR’s work in the field of health.
– Strengthening industrial collaborations to facilitate the transfer of technologies resulting from research.
