The aim of the engineering strand is to organise the laboratory’s experimental activities. The short-term objective is to collectively improve our skills in using our equipment, to capitalise on the developments carried out at the laboratory, and to share them within the unit. In the longer term, the aim is to improve the quality of our developments so that we can make some of them open-source.
Presentation
The Intelligent Systems Engineering research area aims to organise the laboratory’s experimental activities:
– To bring together members of the unit involved in experimental activities with a view to sharing knowledge and expertise amongst all members, particularly new recruits;
– To organise technical days or hackathons to enable unit members to learn how to use new tools or acquire new skills;
– To set up collaborative tools for platform management (communication, documentation, development environment, calendar, etc.) with the aim of making them easier to use and capitalising on the developments achieved.
The short-term objective is to collectively improve our skills in using our equipment, to capitalise on the developments carried out in the laboratory, and to disseminate them within the unit.
In the longer term, the objective is to improve the quality of our developments so that we can make some of them open-source.
