From 22 to 25 June 2026, ISIR was pleased to host ROSCon FR 2026 at the Pierre and Marie Curie Campus of Sorbonne University, in partnership with the ASSOFUSER association.
A must-attend event for the francophone ROS (Robot Operating System) community, this year’s conference brought together, over four days, academic and industrial stakeholders, engineers, researchers, PhD students, undergraduates and robotics enthusiasts who came to discuss the latest advances in the ROS ecosystem and its applications.
Four days dedicated to the ROS ecosystem and innovation
The event centred on two key highlights. 22 and 23 June were devoted to a hackathon and a series of technical workshops, enabling participants to discover or deepen their understanding of ROS tools in a collaborative and friendly setting. These sessions encouraged the exchange of best practice and the sharing of experiences amongst community members.

On 24 and 25 June, the scientific conference took centre stage with a packed programme of presentations focusing on the ROS ecosystem, artificial intelligence, advanced robots and robotic technologies. The presentations highlighted numerous projects and case studies, illustrating the dynamism and diversity of ROS applications in the fields of research and industry.

Fostering connections and collaboration
Beyond the conferences and workshops, ROSCon FR 2026 served as a meeting place for the French-speaking ROS community. The exhibition areas gave partner companies the opportunity to showcase their activities and innovations. Throughout the event, participants were also able to engage with various stakeholders within the ecosystem and share their experiences, thereby fostering dialogue between the academic and industrial sectors.
A social event hosted by Enchanted Tools also brought participants together for a convivial gathering.
The conference concluded with a tour of ISIR’s research platforms. Participants were thus able to discover several projects being developed within the laboratory, offering an insight into the research being carried out in robotics, artificial intelligence and human-robot interaction.

ISIR would like to extend its warmest thanks to all the speakers, partners, exhibitors, volunteers and participants who contributed to the success of the 2026 event.
Through the richness of the discussions, the quality of the presentations and the diversity of the participants, ROSCon FR 2026 has reaffirmed its role as the leading conference for the French-speaking ROS community and its importance in fostering collaboration between academic research and industrial innovation.
