35th International Francophone Conference on Human-Computer Interaction
The IHM’24 conference, supported by the Association Francophone d’Interaction Humain–Machine (AFIHM), is the privileged venue for exchanges on the latest advances in research, development and innovation in Human–Computer Interaction. It will take place from 25–29 March 2024 at Sorbonne University, in Paris (France).
This year, the theme of the conference will focus on Health in the sense of the WHO which defines it as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, which does not consist only of an absence of disease or infirmity”. Health is a vast and complex field, which involves numerous players with very profiles, unique interaction constraints and novel uses. The conference will provide a venue for discussion, to understand how to meet the challenges that researchers face in this domain.
The 2024 edition will also remain open to the themes traditionally addressed by the IHM conference. The goal of IHM’24 is to provide a forum for discussion, exchange and sharing between the different actors of the community, with the ambition of:
- promoting the field of Human–Computer Interaction and strengthening collaborations between members of the community;
- promoting interdisciplinarity between human and social sciences, medicine, and computer science
- encouraging the participation of young researchers;
- developing links between the academic world and the industry world around HCI issues.
