On Tuesday 26 May 2026, the ISIR Young Scientists’ Day took place, a key event dedicated to the laboratory’s PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and engineers.
During the day, PhD students presented their research in oral presentations. A poster session, open to all members of the laboratory, also provided an opportunity to continue discussions about the projects being carried out at ISIR.
The day continued with a presentation on ‘life after the PhD’ and the various career opportunities available to young PhD graduates. A round-table discussion then brought together recent recruits to the laboratory, who came to share their experiences and advice on career prospects as well as on competitions for researchers and lecturer-researchers.
A day rich in discussion and inspiration for everyone’s future career paths.
