Visit from Antoine Petit – CEO of the CNRS, and Nathalie Drach Temam – President of Sorbonne University

ISIR received, Tuesday 18 January 2022, a visit from its Institutions represented by Antoine Petit, CEO of the CNRS and Nathalie Drach Temam, President of Sorbonne University.

This meeting was an opportunity to discuss robotic technologies for motor disabilities, in particular exoskeletons and prostheses, and joint research between ISIR and the company Wandercraft, represented by its CEO Matthieu Masselin.

Wandercraft manufactures and markets Atalante, a walking exoskeleton that provides full support for people with no motor skills in their lower limbs, without the aid of crutches.

This visit allowed, on the one hand, to discover the research activities carried out at ISIR on the design of robotic devices for the assistance of people suffering from a motor deficit. And on the other hand, to make links between robotics and learning, and the perspectives offered by the association of robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
